Update from Isaac and Crepe Recipe

My headaches are much better thankfully. I have only had a headaches about twice a week now instead of every single day. I have improved my eating by eating more smoothies and more salads and greens. Some effective ways I got rid of headaches was staying hydrated and putting a little bit of salt in my water. If I get a headache I give myself a pressure point in between my thumb and my index finer. It helps a lot. I have been making a healthy lemonade that tastes really good. All you do it squeeze a half of lemon put ice in it fill it with water and put 1-2 squirts of liquid stevia in it and that's all. Another thing that has also helped my headaches is staying away from screens, I think the last time  watched TV was about two weeks ago. Instead I like being outdoors and catching lizards and snakes. I know being gluten free has helped me be so much healthier because, wheat is in a lot of treats and stuff that does not have good ingredients. This is my favorite gluten free crepe recipe. I usually will quadruple this recipe

St.Gorge trip

Hey! I've been drinking my green drinks every day even though some aren't the best. My mom just got a powder that you mix with water and it kind of taste like fruit punch and it's heathy. Green drinks pay off. I haven't been sick for months almost years. Even my head aches have lessend.Last week I went to St. Gorge and we didn't have any drinks. But I was still heathy. I went swimming a lot cause it was across the street. We got to stay there three days. we went to the hot pots where it has a natural hot water even the river was warm. it was fun. I golfed with my dad and neighbors in St.Gorge. we hit balls then went to the golf corse. I got to drive the golf cart it was so fun. The worst thing there was the end when we had to go home. IT TOOK FOUR HOURS. And on car drives i cant sleep but my brothers and sisters can. So the whole drive I played the I pad. It was pretty fun there;)

me and my sister ella after we had are green drinks.

Isaac's story

I have decided to let Isaac share his thoughts on his own "blog" as my guest. He has learned more than most kids want to about nutrition in order to try and heal his body. He is almost 11 now and I am losing control of what he puts into his mouth when I am not around. I have to just let him go on this journey now and provide with the healthy options and I do have the control on what I have in my home. I love this kid and am always amazed by his willpower, strength, and determination.

HEY! I am Isaac christian I'm 10. I love football and basketball. I also love to catch lizards, frogs, or any other reptile I can get my hands on. I love to get dirty and go fishing with my Dad. I play the piano even though I hate to practice.  I also like to cook and help my mom in the kitchen.

I started a blog to help kids like me. When I was about four I started having bad head aches and some hurt so bad I even cried. I had a bad head ache every day and I would usually puke. So I was sick of having head aches so we spent over 5,000$ over all the years and we went to tons of doctors. I got a eye surgery and a lot of blood samples and pins in my back. We thought I might be allergic to something but I was not. So after a lot of money spent we decided to see if food makes a difference. I have been going without wheat for 3 months now, painful! We are seeing if that might help my gut repair more and my body to absorb nutrients better so I won't get any headaches. It has helped a little, but I still get headaches now and then. The doctor and my mom want me to try it for 6 months before I decide if I should avoid wheat forever. This has been really hard for me because I miss out on a lot of treats at school, sports, and birthdays.

I have been drinking green drinks every morning for two years. Sometimes I help my mom make them. They are full of spinach, chard, kale, and frozen fruit and flax seeds. I also have fermented foods like sauerkraut and kombacha often. We make coconut Kiefer and sprout raw nuts and seeds too. My mom is really into this health thing and I am learning things with her to try and become healthier.

Some things I have noticed since I have been eating healthier is that my headaches aren't as bad and my skin isn't as dry and itchy as it used to be. I don't get sick very often and never have a runny nose or cough. I have a great memory and I think eating healthy has made me smarter.

I hope to cure a few things by eating well. I want to sleep better, not have anymore headaches, no colds, grow tall, be strong and fast. I have learned that most kids don't know how to eat healthy and they are not told the truth by the TV and radio.

We don't eat a lot of meat or dairy, even though I love those things, but I am learning that it is healthier to not have too much of these things. We also don't buy processed foods or snacks and make most of our snacks ourselves.  I want to write about how hard it is to be a kid and eat healthy and also share some videos and snacks of things I like or at least like good enough to eat because I know they are good for me.
